The Festivals of Cebu Province
Cebuanos love their festivals. The must-see festival is Sinulog every third Sunday of January.
Sinulog celebrates Santo Niño de Cebu and is the Philippines' largest festival with an exeptional huge fluvial parade in the morning the day before.
Other popular festivals are Alcoy's Siloy Festival, Bantayan Island's Palawod Festival, Daanbantayan's Haladaya Festival, Lapu-Lapu City's Kadaugan sa Mactan, and Mandaue City's Mantawi Festival.
