Olango Island's Talima Fish Sanctuary
Talima Fish Sanctuary is only 5-10 minutes by boat from our Scotty's Dive Center Headquarters on Mactan Island. It is 4.5 kilometers (2 nautical miles) from Shangri-la Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, heading 128° on the compass.
The 14-hectare Talima Fish Sanctuary is well-maintained. This provides opportunities for macro lens photography, so bring your underwater camera!
On land, Talima is secluded enough to be quiet compared to destinations on other island tours. It is about 8 kilometers (5 miles) from the Olango Wildlife Observation Deck. Also, Talima has a water park with inflatables, ATVs, mountain bikes, and ziplines.
Snorkeling Talima Marine Sanctuary
The snorkeling plateau starts at 5 meters (15 feet) and continues down to 18 meters (60 feet). Compared to other sites, the corals will appear to be in pristine condition. And, as a result, the coral fishes will be plentiful.
Not all snorkeling sites are the same. Talima Fish Sanctuary has an underwater wooden wreckage to explore!
