Cabulan Island is also known as Cabul-an
Cabul-an Island is flat. The highest elevation is only about 1 meter (3 foot). Shallow water surrounds it.
Like much of Bohol, Cabulan Island has white sand beaches. In many directions you can view surrounding islands. Perfect Beach is one notable beach.
Cabulan Island also has a marine sanctuary. This tourist excursion can be a full day tour where you can snorkel hundreds of metres in the crystal clear waters around the island.
Snorkeling at Cabul-an Island
The water around Cabulan Island is 1 meter (3 feet) to 3 meters (10 feet) deep. You can go snorkeling at this depth out to 100 meters (325 feet) in all directions.
Bring your underwater camera. As you leave the white sand beach and enter the shallow water, beautiful corals await.
Your package tour may include snorkeling as one of several daily activities. Other activities may include swimming or dining.
Your Cabulan Island, Bohol Excursion
The shallow water makes Cabulan Island a great place to go swimming or go snorkeling. There are grass cottages to rent when it is time to rest.
Bring your birding binoculars and go bird watching. Migratory birds pass through the marine sanctuary here.
Enjoy the local hospitality at Peaceful Fisherman's Village. The fishermen and their families are well known for it!
