Our PADI Drift Diver course teaches proper and safe underwater drifting
Drift diving is one of the most exiting and exhilarating things you can do underwater.
If you would never glide on air, or if you are scared of heights, you can still feel like you are flying by drifting underwater using currents and tides.
Drifting underwater is like flying low to the ground. The difference is that you are underwater while you watch the "ground" pass beneath you. Moreover, the stronger the currents, the faster you go.
During our PADI Drift Diver course, you will learn how to master the currents and tides and to use them for your recreation.
So, ride with the waves and underwater currents. Drift freely and enjoy the ride!

Why should you learn how to drift underwater?
Drifting while diving requires some knowledge and techniques. Especially important, your whole team needs strong communication skills.
For example, if you jump into the water too late, and your boat is anchored, your buddies might exhaust themselves fighting against the current.
While enjoying drifting, you need to pay extra attention to the whereabouts of your team. Everyone can split up into mere moments. It may not be possible to rejoin your team if that happens.
Without proper techniques, exiting after your dive can also be exhausting. You need to use the current, not fight against it.
Overall, drift diving is an exciting and exhilarating underwater ride. Every scuba diver should try it. However, you need to learn some special skills, like joining lines, and have excellent buoyancy. After taking this course, you will be able to safely drift underwater, even at high speeds.
During our PADI Drift Diver course, you will learn:
