Diving in Moalboal is not only for the sardines run. It's also about a huge underwater biodiversity. Big colorful walls covered with corals, gorgonians and sea fans.

Diving in Moalboal will take less than 3 hours by car from our Scotty's dive center in Mactan, with 2 dives in Moalboal, and coming back around 16h00 (4PM) to be at Scotty's by dusk.

- Given the distance/time by car, we ask for a minimum of 3 persons.
- In the car or the boat: O2 tank (oxygen cylinder) and equipments plus a first aid kit.
- We always carry a spare dive equipment and a diving gear toolbox, in case your gear fails.
- We do have a communication device in case of emergency.

If you have never experienced to dive in a huge school of fish, as a diver, you must do it and more importantly, you must feel it.
Other than the sardine run, is there something else to see?
Of course! A gorgeous wall covered with huge and colorful gorgonians and sea fans where many school of fishes are swimming around can be found at the dive site. Turtles and thresher sharks are also living there.
All the underwater critters and the most colorful reef fishes are shoaling around the corals, as well as barracudas, school of jacks, snappers, groupers, rays, tresher sharks and many more.
The whale sharks might join the party too, as well as the dolphins.
Our thoughts about diving in Moalboal.
Even if it's a day trip diving, it's a must to do dive safari. We call this kind of dive a "once in a lifetime".
The huge biodiversity is unique to Moalboal.
It is also huge in quantity, which attract all the predators like the tresher shark, white tip sharks and dolphins.
Over all it's a great and a unique experience, a must-dive if you are in the Philippines during your holidays.
No need to be an advanced of deep diver. All levels are good to dive in Moalboal, even for the sardine run!
