Why should you take our PADI Underwater Photography course?

The PADI digital underwater photographer course Having an underwater camera does not make you a good photographer, and if you are looking at this page, it's because you want to be a better photographer. During our PADI Underwater Photography course, however, you will quickly learn how to compose great pictures.

Do you know what "white balance" is?
Do you know that the white balance changes every meter (3 feet) underwater?
During our PADI Underwater Photography class, you will learn to adjust your camera, so as to not have all green or all blue images. One way to do this is by changing the white balance of your camera, for example if you do not use flash on close-up subjects.

You will also learn the ins and outs of using a flash. You will learn the rules of composition and the differences between a snapshot and a photo.

It is worth noting that everything you learn about underwater photography is also applicable on land. Thus, you will capture nicer family portraits, landscapes, and more.

  • proper selection of an underwater camera system
  • the shoot, examine, and adjust method for taking better shots
  • various skills in taking underwater photos with your camera

Furthermore, you will learn how to properly focus so as to get sharp pictures, the importance of a beautiful bokeh (blurred background), and much more.

Our PADI Underwater Photographer course includes:

A mask and snorkel, BCD (buoyancy compensator device), scuba tank, regulators, wetsuit/exposure suit, fins, booties, camera, and waterproof camera housing are all included.

We recommend using your best waterproof camera, but we do have cameras at our dive shop if you do not have one.
