With the PADI Night Diver course discover the incredible underwater night life.
Did you ever wonder what's happening underwater at night? Even in places where you have to use to dive during the day?
Diving at night is a brand new world, even if in the dive sites you have to use to dive during the day!
At night, one of the first thing that jumps to your eyes (in the tropical waters) are the colors of the differents species of corals! If you thought you knew their true colors during the day, you are at 20 000 leagues from the truth.
During a night dive, the surrounding darkness is peaceful, making night dives more relaxing than during the day. You focus only on what you see with your torch or flash light.
The marine life is also very different, all types of shells are going outside, species you won't even imagine they exist.

Venturing into a whole new world of scuba diving need knowledge and practices. And yes diving at night it's diving in an entirely new world, an entirely different world than during the day.

Diving during the night need more contact with your buddies, as well as practicing emergency situations at night.
Different marine life at night means different potential dangers to know about (for example the cone shell in the picture above has a venom extremely dangerous).
During the PADI Night Diver course, you will learn:
You will learn to control your buoyancy without visual landmark (use of your bottom timer or dive computer and feeling). You will focus on what's your light beam shows you and understand what you have missed during the day (paying attention to details) You will also learn:
- how to handle a light and communicate with it.
- Procedures to enter and exit in the water at night.
- Navigation in the dark.
- Why marine lives have a different behavior at night.
