Scuba Diving Lessons: Our PADI Sidemount Diver Course
During our PADI Sidemount Diver course, you will discover a new way to scuba dive.
Sidemount diving has become very popular. It is not only more comfortable, but you will also have more of your preferred gas. After all, two scuba tanks (cylinders) hold more gas than one.
Diving with a scuba tank (cylinder) on your back is not mandatory. Many people have discovered the joy of diving with their tanks at their sides. It is more streamlined underwater, which means you use less effort against currents.
Another bonus, besides being more comfortable, sidemount scuba diving is advantageous in caverns and caves. You will be able to pass through restrictions easier.

Why should you take our PADI Sidemount Diver course?
The PADI Sidemount Diver course will provide you a new way to dive. You will be both streamlined and more comfortable.
With our Sidemount Diver course, you will be able to visit wrecks with greater ease. You will not have a backmount scuba tank (cylinder) knocking into every hatch and restriction.
Our PADI Sidemount Diver course will build up your skills and confidence. After all, diving with two tanks (cylinders) is much safer than diving with only one tank.
Sidemount diving, with either one or two tanks, has become very popular for several reasons. With sidemount diving, it is easier to swim against currents, there is no back pain after a dive, and it is easier to put on before a dive. All you do is sit down and clip your scuba tanks to your harness.
During our PADI Sidemount Diver course, you will learn:
During our sidemount course, you will learn how to adjust your harness, put yourself into a perfectly streamlined position, play with your tanks (cylinders), and have them in front of you to simulate entering a wreck.
You will also learn how to manage gas in each scuba tank (cylinder) by switching your regulators (second stage).
Along with learning all the benefits and advantages of a sidemount configuration, your instructor will also teach you:
- to trim your weight and sidemount gear
- assemble, try, and properly configure sidemount equipment.
- respond properly with your sidemount gear
And much more.
