Scuba diving is the foremost activity here in Moalboal. Warm tropical water, colorful marine life, steep walls and a vibrant marine eco system lure scuba divers from all over the world to Moalboal.
Turtles are frequently seen nearly in Moalboal and sometimes divers are joined by whale sharks (the biggest fish on earth), thresher sharks, giant schools of sardines and an abundance of other marine life.
The heart of the Tañon Strait has some of the richest marine biodiversity in the Philippines and the Coral Triangle.
