Our diving safaris in the Philippines, for one day or more.

Our bangka boat used for the diving safaris All Scotty's Dive Centers organize many diving safaris on a regular basis, so you can schedule your dive safaris with us!

Depending on your location in the Philippines, you will use our luxury bangka boat (Scotty's 2), the Rainbow Runner, or any of your preferred boat from our fleet.

There are many diving places around us.
Some of these diving sites are far that we usually send a boat for the whole day with 2 or 3 dives on the site. These day safaris are very popular at Scotty's because you will dive where no other divers have been. Plus the diving sites have a stunning underwater biodiversity!

Our scuba diving safaris from Boracay.

For one day or more, we have some scuba diving safaris near and around Boracay.
Depending on the distance from Boracay, we might ask for a minimum of scuba divers participation for the safari. If you are alone, we can help you to find scuba divers who would like to join the safari.

Hinugtan is a diving day safari.

The Hinugtan diving site Diving at the Hinugtan dive place is a full day dive safari by boat with three dives at Hinugtan. Dive into the vivacious underwater scenery along a wall full of sea fans and gorgonians, a forest of corals, and many different kinds of schools of fish. You can dive 2 to 3 times for a day trip or just one time for a half day journey.

Maniguin island dive safari.

Maniguin island dive place The Maniguin island is 1 hour away at an average of 25 knots (47-48 km/h) by our speed boat from Boracay. With a local bangka boat, it can take more than 4 hours. This is a day dive safari, so prepare yourself to be astonished first by the underwater visibility which is more than 30 meters (100 feet). Secondly, by the unusually rich biodiverse animals like the big napoleon fish (AKA Humphead wrasse), manta rays and other kinds of rays, schools of barracudas, trevally fish, school of jacks and so on.

Dive safari at Laurel island.

Laurel island dive site Laurel Island is situated just behind the Crocodile Island dive site. From the shores of Boracay, it will take 45 minutes to an hour to get to the island by boat. Laurel Island is divided into two dive sites: the Laurel Island and the Laurel tunnel. Both diving destinations are quite close to each other and can make a perfect island tour worth diving. Currents may stay quite moderate, but it is always advisable to be a little more experienced in drift diving so that you can enjoy and be safe in this fun diving destination.

Dive safari at Sibay Island.

Sibay dive safari The Sibay Dive Safari is a full day safari with three dives at the different diving sites of Sibay Island. Sibay Island is located at 43 kilometers (23 nautical miles) from our dive center in Boracay, which take less than 2 hours with our speed boat to go to the different dive sites of Sibay. Prepare yourself to encounter sharks, manta rays, schools of barracudas and much more.

Our scuba diving safaris from Bohol and Panglao.

Around Bohol and Panglao Islands, there are some diving places where it can take a while by boat to go to. This is why we have some dive safaris for a full day diving.
These scuba diving safaris usually include at least two dives in these diving places, although three scuba dives is often on the different dive spots.

Dive safari at Pamilacan Island.

Diving site of Pamilacan Pamilacan Island is located at 17 kilometers (9 nautical miles) from our dive center in Bohol, Panglao. The dive safaris of Pamilacan is known for whale and dolphin watching between March and June (the sedentary dolphins can be watched all throughout the year though). The seabed of Pamilacan is covered by sea fans, huge gorgonians and many different species of colorful corals. Pamilacan is a day dive safari.

The Cervera shoal dive safari.

Cervera shoal dive site Off the shore of Panglao Island, the Cervera Shoal diving site is known as the Snake's Island because there are many white and black banded sea snakes on the south part of the diving site. The current can be powerful to "brutal" on the surface, this is why the Cervera Shoal is well-known to the experienced drift divers. We usually combine the dive safari with Pamilacan Island.

Dive safari at Cabilao island.

Diving in Cabilao Cabilao island is known as the best diving place, with its different dive sites, between Bohol and Cebu. Cabilao is a haven for underwater photographers, and we can't even speak enough about the great opportunities for macro photography. Cabilao is home to the famous pygmy seahorse and the most beautiful species of nudibranchs in the Philippines. Diving at Cabilao Island will take the full day as a dive safari.

Diving at Balicasag Island.

Diving at Balicasag Island Balicasag Island is a marine sanctuary where you can dive with sea turtles. It's usually a day trip dive safari with 2 or 3 dives at Balicasag. There are many diving sites around Balicasag Island, but the most popular dives are for the turtles, which are quite shallow on the plateau at around 10 meters (33 feet) eating seaweeds and algae around 3 o'clock.

Our scuba diving safaris from Mactan and Cebu.

Mactan and Cebu are located right in the middle of the coral's triangle, which means that there are a lot of dive safaris to do nearby.
From one full day to 2 to 3 days, you can do a lot of diving safaris around Cebu and Mactan.

Hilutungan dive safari.

Hilutungan marine sanctuary diving Hilutungan Island is in the Hilutungan channel and from our Scotty's Dive Center in Mactan, it's a day dive safari which can also be, depending your needs, a half day safari. The Hilutungan dive site is a marine sanctuary and a well-known diving spot for the local divers.

Nalusuan dive safari.

Nalusuan marine sanctuary diving Dive into one of the best diving spots in Mactan and Cebu. Nalusuan Island offers wealthy and healthy marine life and a wide diversity of fishes. The Nalusuan destination is a day dive safari with 2 to 3 dives around Nalusuan Island. This dive safari can be combined with a stop to dive at the Hilutugan Island marine sanctuary.

Hilutungan and Nalusuan dive safari.

Hilutungan and Nalusuan Hilutungan and Nalusuan dive safari can be done for half a day or a full day dive safari as they are on the same way. These two magical islands are also known for island hopping and tours and are surrounded by a marine sanctuary. The marine sanctuary is for all divers, from the beginner to the more experienced divers.

SCUBA diving at Moalboal.

Moalboal diving Known for its famous sardine run, Moalboal has many marine sanctuaries that stretch out within the area. It can take less than 3 hours from our Scotty's Dive Center in Mactan to go to Moalboal. Moalboal might have one of the biggest marine biodiversity on the Cebu Island because Moalboal is located in the southwest of Cebu facing Negros Island.

San Juan wreck, Liloan, Cebu.

San Juan wreck Explore the sunken MV San Juan ferry of Liloan wreck as this real life immersed “Ro-Ro” is one of the best wrecks for technical divers, but deep recreational divers can enjoy the top of the dive site and play around the wreck too. The 60-meter long ship had sunk in the year 2000, resting down to 50 meterd in the Liloan bay. Due to the distance of diving on this wreck, it can be a half day safari.

Dive safari at Malapascua.

Malapascua island diving Malapascua island is best known for having a great and amazing scuba diving spots with great sightings of amazing marine life residents. Malapascua has many diving spots, but Malapascua is mostly well-known for its Thrsher sharks sightings. Diving in Malapascua is atleast a full-day dive safari (two day are best) and can be done mostly during the dry season when the sea is flat.

Dive safari at the Camotes islands.

Camotes islands The Camotes Islands houses an underwater paradise underneath, a beautiful wall filled with colorful corals and sponges, decorated with sea fans, crinoids, and tropical marine species. Don't miss to capture the beautiful and mesmerizing colors of the ocean floors of the Camotes Islands and its marine life residents. Diving to the Camotes Islands is a day dive safari, but can easily become a multiple day dive safari.

Dive safari at Cuatro islas.

Moalboal diving Get into one of the most beautiful places to visit here in the Philippines, and a sure not-to-miss dive spots in the world. Dive into Cuatro Islas in Leyte, as it is one of the most beautiful marine sanctuaries spreading through the four islands inhabited by thousands of stunning marine diversities. Diving at Cuatro Islas is a whole day dive safari.

Diving in Cabilao island.

Diving in Cabilao Cabilao island is known as the best diving place with its different dive sites between Bohol and Cebu. Cabilao is a haven for underwater photographers, and we don't even speak enough about the amazing opportunities for macro photography because Cabilao houses the famous pygmy seahorse and the most beautiful species of nudibranchs in the Philippines. Cabilao is also home to the hammerhead sharks, as well as the white tips and black tips reef sharks.

Cave diving at Caubian cave.

Diving at Caubian cave The Caubian cave dive site is less than 45 minutes from our dive center headquarters in Mactan. Diving in the Caubian cave is for experienced divers and we even recommend it for tech divers. The average depth is around 40 meters (130 feet), and exploring the cave is a must to do. On the way back you will have all the time to observe the amazing marine life along the wall during your decompression.

The Double-barrier reef of Danajon bank.

Danajon bank double barrier reef The Danajon Bank double-barrier coral reef is one of the six underwater double-barrier reefs in the world which is made of corals. This unique feature of the Danajon Bank make this dive site a unique dive spot in the Philippines, and even in the world due to the numerous species of corals. This double barrier reef is also known for possible encounters of tiger sharks, as well as bull sharks.

Dive safari at Capitancillo.

Dive safari at Capitancillo Diving at Capitancillo Island is a day dive safari from our dive center headquarters in Mactan. This safari is unique of its kind as Capitancillo is literally in the middle of nowhere. This is why a significant biodiversity surrounds Capitancillo Island and almost nobody is going or has been to the Island. This day trip dive safari is a must-do if you are in Mactan or Cebu.

Diving with whale sharks.

Whale sharks in Oslob Diving with whale sharks is a unique experience, the biggest fish in the world (yes, it is a fish and not a mammal) is living in Oslob the whole year-round. Oslob is less than 3 hours away by car from our Scotty's Dive Center in Mactan, and this day trip safari starts very early in the morning to be in the water with the whale sharks before 10 o'clock, followed by a second dive at the Sumilon Island.
