We take our commitment to the underwater world very seriously here at Scotty's Dive Center. As an official steward of the Shangri-La Marine Sanctuary, we share the privilege of protecting one of the best dive sites in Cebu. In addition to our responsibilities in this one protected area, we have also collaborated with international conservation agencies such as: Caltex Philippines, Ocean Care Philippines, WWF-Philippines, US-AID, Amores Charities, the Lapu-Lapu City Government, CFARMC, Project AWARE, International Coastal Cleanup, the US Peace Corps, and the Shangri-La Group.- Divemaster candidates must participate in cleanup efforts.

Scotty's Dive Center has been providing high-quality dive courses for Cebu's five-star guests for the last 15 years. Throughout the years, we have developed an educational philosophy. We have taken this philosophy, applied it to our own team, and the result is one of the most highly-qualified dive teams around.Whether you're looking to take your first scuba diving course or if you are looking to continue your dive education, diving with Scotty's is the right choice. We offer courses from both SSI and PADI Agencies. They are the two leading agencies in the industry and offer a very similar curriculum. The SSI offers a free online training course for most diving levels while PADI is charging a fee.
