Shangri-La Marine Sanctuary
This site is located just off the pier of Shangri-la's Mactan Island Resort. The underwater terrain gradually decends to dephts well beyond the recreational diving limits. The Richest coral is located in approximately 18 meters of water surrounded by a sandy bottom with rocks and coral heads scattered throughout. Each Coral head provides a rich environment for invertebrates, frog fish, and the usual reef dwellers, great for underwater photography! This is an excellent site for night dives and diver training. |
